New ultra-modern 300+ sq metre house with unusual architectural features and vast glassed areas, filled with original artworks by the owner. The house comprises 2 spacious bedrooms (1 downstairs, 1 upstairs) with double beds and large glass sliding doors, 2 full bathrooms with glass tiles and designer showers, a study with a digital piano, computer and broadband internet access, 2 lounges with fireplaces and expansive glass sliding doors with views, dining room seating 8, kitchen with microwave oven, 2 conventional ovens, gas stove, fridge/freezer and washing machine, scullery and double garage. Furniture is mostly custom made - modern yet unpretentious. The living areas lead to a large sheltered verandah with a barbecue. The house has many glass sliding doors onto outside areas, including a deck and plunge pool. The views of Table Mountain and the first fairway are spectacular as we are situated in an elevated position on the Atlantic Beach Golf course. The wild life seen from our home includes Springbok, Mongoose, tortoises, a variety of birds and other small animals. The house has been designed for outdoor living and entertainment. There is a small garden planted with indigenous plants. Our small plunge pool is not heated, but refreshing in the Spring, Summer & Autumn! We do not have any pets and would not want pets in our home. As non-smokers, we do not allow smoking on our property. This is a home swap for non-smokers only. This house would be ideal for 1 or 2 mature couples who are used to luxury and good taste, respect nature and enjoy golf. Couples who would appreciate the home and setting would probably be adventurous nature lovers who like to keep options open by being close to the city.
