It gives a nice range of accomidations and travel methods and is very realistic about what to expect from each. I highly recommend that aquarists look for at least a second opinion before choosing individual species as described in this book." "This book is really great, straight forward and elaborate even though it only is 95 pages. There's a nice describtion of 100+ fish - including natural habitat, size, requirements, diet, breeding and colour fotos. Also this book covers how to set up the aquarium and run it as well as spawning tips and a brief history of the lake Malawi.

On the down side there are some typos especially in the translation to the metric system, the chapter on setting up the aquarium should have been longer - there is a 14 line text covering live plants in Malawi aquaria. I know that most people don't want plants in their Malawi aquaria but there's plants on a lot of photos showing Malawi fish (and I want plants!).
