SWAP A UK WINTER FOR AN AUSSIE SUMMER THIS DECEMBER/JAN/FEB 2009      Modest but groovy original 1950`s Canberra town house. 3 bedrooms, 1 with bunks, 2 with queensize beds, with front and back garden, hens in the coop, barbeque area. Walk 2 klms into the city or an easy bus or bike ride. Look after 2 lovely Beaglier dogs, take my Kombi for a cruise to the coast (2 hours) or up to the mountains and walk up Kosiosko, the highest mountain(hill!) in Australia. Drive 3 hours to Sydney (though I would recommend the bus) for a weekend. I want to swap house,pets,cars, bikes. Looking for a responsible couple or family who will care for my home as I will theirs. I am a teacher travelling and doing family research from about 20th of Decemember to 10th-15th of Feburary. Yes, I do want to swap a UK winter for an Aussie summer (crazy I know)

O`Connor is in the inner city, 15 Mins by taxi from Canberra airport. 3 Hours by Murrays or Greyhound coach from Sydney city or airport.(cheaper option than flying)Once in the city you have access to Art Galleries, Museums,Parliament House, Embassies.   While you are here you must visit the local town of Canberra, O`CONNOR to see the sights, is typical of Australia

Would like to swap to:North of England, Durham or there abouts, or Edinburgh Scotland. As happy to live in the inner city as in a cottage in the country as long as we have a car to get around. Do not need luxury, just clean.
