Glan-y-mor is a stone-built 18th century ex-farmhouse with fabulous views over Cardigan Bay, Poppit Sands and the Teifi estuary, and, in the distance, Snowdonia. Situated on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and only five minutes walk from the wide sandy Poppit beach.      The artist owner lives adjacent but entirely separate.   She is usually available for advice on local attractiions, sea conditions, local transport for the coastal path walks etc.      Poppit Sands has a beautiful sandy beach at the mouth of the river Teifi. It has cliffs and rocks at one end with outstanding rock formations. There are also sand dunes at the back of the beach.      It is possible to launch dinghies from the beach. The coast is excellent for canoeing. When the surf is up, the waves are second to few; Kite flyers enjoy the space; Hang gliders sometimes land having taken off from Cemmaes head; Anglers spend many an hour fishing.      The Poppit Sands Surf Lifesaving club provides Lifeguard cover during the holiday season. The RNLI have a state of the art rescue centre adjacent to the Lifeguards. The Coastguard station is further up the road from Glan-y-Mor. These services are always at the ready in case of need.      The cottage has four bedrooms, two with sea view. There is a comfy living room and a kitchen/dining room, also with sea view. There are several traditional features.   There is a small lawn to the front and one to the side.         

2 hours to Cardiff Airport. one hour to Carmarthen train station. Regular busses between Poppit Sands and Cardigan..   While you are here you must visit the local town of St Dogmaels, Poppit Sands to see the sights, is typical of Wales
