We are situated 90 minutes north of Granada in Eastern Andalucia. We are in an absolutely stunning location ideal for a rural getaway or for Walking and Mountain Biking/Road Cycling. Many birds circle the area most days and include Vultures and Eagles, so be sure to bring some binoculars to appreciate in full. The village of Castril itself is a traditional picturesque white village with a stunning gorge walk, a tourist information centre/museum and quaint bars where you can still experience free tapas with your beer.      Your accommodation is on the ground floor and is self contained. There are 2 double rooms, 2 twin rooms, a full sized bathroom, a shower-room, a fully fitted kitchen, lounge with tv/video player/dvd player, stereo, books and games. There is an outside terrace with views stetching as far as the snow filled Sierra Nevada on a clear day, and from June to September, there is a 10ft metal framed pool to cool off in. During the winter months you can eat in the lounge/diner and as it gets warmer you are free to eat on the terrace in the shade of the grapevines.      Upon arrival, there are many brochures available for you to read and maps for walking, cycling and drive outs, as well as details of local restaurants and other things to do in the local area.

Buses go to Baza and Benidorm on a daily basis Granada airport is 1.5hrs from us, Almeria airport is 1.45hrs, Murcia airport is 2hrs and Malaga/Alicante are approximately 2.5 - 3hrs from here.
