The cottage’s outside space includes a decked BBQ area, and the garden contains fruit tress and wine producing vines. There are children’s swings as well as a children`s playhouse, sand pit and toys. The ground floor has a wine cellar and a summer kitchen that keeps a welcomed cool temperature on hot days. It is equipped with a 1.8m pool table, dart board and table football for your use. The first floor consists of a new bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and living and dining space. Doors open on to a balcony that overlooks the vineyard and the beautiful Prekmurje countryside. Unlike many Slovenian properties it is fully enclosed with a gate (great for kids). Location Situated in the Goricko Nature Park in the North East region of Slovenia called Prekmurje, our alpine style three storey cottage offers very comfortable accommodation in a tranquil setting, but just 5km away from Prekmurje’s largest town, Murska Sobota. Vaneca Cottage is just 5km from Terme 3000, a huge leisure complex that includes a 18 hole golf course amp; 22 indoor and outdoor pools of various depths and temperatures. There are slides, saunas and Jacuzzis. Various health and beauty treatments are available. There is lots of indoor and outdoor space to relax in. It is open all year round and is good for all ages. The cottage is a perfect base to explore the region, by cycling through the many pretty villages, taking in the sights of the area which has been named ‘The sleeping beauty of Slovenia’. Another advantage of choosing the Prekmurje region is its proximity to 3 other countries. Austria, Hungary and Croatia are within striking distance. 1 hour from Graz airport in Austria.
