A magnificent Victorian style villa,originally built in 1906 in Auckland and ninety years later transported in 3 parts to a beautiful location just 10 minutes Nort of Rotorua, away from sulphur fumes and traffic noise.   The villa is now surrounded by large gardens. Views over green fields towards lake Rotorua and the volcano Mt Tarawera, that last erupted in 1886 and destroyed the Pink and White terraces.   All rooms have ensuite or private bathrooms. Also one self contained loft is available.   One room and ensuite are wheelchair accessible as are all the main areas and decks surrounding the villa.   Breakfast is served in the conservatory which has beautiful stained glass windows.   Close to many tourist attractions. Excellent restaurants are from 5 to 15 minutes away. Thermal attractions from 10 to 30 minutes.    Rotorua is an excellent base to discover the East and central North Island.   Taupo and Tauranga are only an hour away.   Rotorua is also famous for its Spa treatments.   Helicopter transfers and sightseeing can be arranged from Country Villa.   NOTE !
