You have to go to the Olympic Airlines WEB site and get the domestic timetable of flights from Athens. Even flying Olympic from London you have to check in again as a domestic passenger and then go through security and then you find a row of gates with numbers and names of islands. It's simple if you're not half asleep. The first class lounge (ok - not real island hopping but I'm 65) is hidden at the end of the row AFTER security. "The colorful photos and diagrams found in the DK travel books are a big plus for some and a major detraction for others. Personally I think this is a great book to use while making preliminary travel plans because it's very difficult to decide where to go if you can't see pictures of it first. Then once you narrow down your choices you'll want a more comprehensive travel guide, such as the Lonely Planet guides, which contain better maps, travel information, hotels, etc, but which have very few photos. "On a 10-day driving trip around mainland Greece this guide proved a disappointment. There aren't enough city maps so you need to buy a Lonely Planet guide as well. I love the DK guides to London and Paris where the neighborhoods and sights are so intricate that the DK diagrams and walking tours are immensely helpful. The restaurant recommendations turned out to be rather poor from the DK guide. Frommer's and Lonely Planet were a lot more reliable.

"Like the previous reviewer I found this package to be quite weak. There is no guidance on alphabet, verbs, tenses etc. In other words - the basics (presumably) of the language. Yes, you can play learning games and repeat phrases to your heart's content but I suspect if you learn this way you are going to sound very strange to a Greek native.
If you're looking to work and live amongst the Greeks (as I hope to do) then look for a more comprehensive package.
