Large Holiday Home with pool in South West France      This impressive house, painstakingly restored with wonderful views of the rolling countryside plus a superb pool, it is an ideal property for your holiday home            About our region   Located a `healthy` walk from Caylus (2km), a medieval town where the passage of time has barely touched parts of this fascinating town. Market days are Tuesday and Saturday, where you can buy wonderful locally grown fruits, vegetables, cheeses and wine. The market at St Antonin (10km) on Sundays shouldn`t be missed.       The town has several bars, restaurants, patisseries, butchers and a small supermarket. Within a 15 minute drive are larger supermarkets at Villefranche or Caussade. There is an abundance of interesting local medieval villages and a number of activities for the more energetic.      A number of local villages and towns have interesting and colourful markets. Be sure not to miss the local market in St Antonin held on Sunday mornings.      Peace and tranquility surround you, but for those more active, there are many sporting activities nearby including tennis, fishing, pot-holing, rock-climbing and horse riding. There is a delightful 18 hole golf course at Albi, where there is also a water park for children. An afternoon`s excursion by canoe through the Aveyron Gorge is also considered a `must` by nearly all guests.      Within short driving distances there are a number of fascinating towns and villages including Albi, Cahors, Penne and Bruniquel, all of which are well worth a visit. As well as the nearby medieval villages and bastide towns, there are châteaux, abbeys, churches and magnificent natural sites of outstanding beauty; whether it be wooded valleys or the meandering Aveyron with its dramatic gorges.      About our property (sleeps 10 + baby)      This impressive property, which is the residence of the owner for most of the year and as such has an unusually high level of comfort, has been painstakingly restored
