South-facing with views across the pool and gardens, there is an outdoor door dining/bbq terrace, private trellised garden area and parking. Inside, there are 3 comfortable bedrooms (1 double, 1 double with single, 1 twin, a spacious salon/diner (TV, DVD, CD etc), fitted kitchen (dishwasher, oven etc), luxury bathroom (bath, shower, vanity, w`machine) plus 2 WCs. (River setting not recommended for children under 8 years old).   Perfect base for exploring the Charentais countryside and market towns, sampling excellent cuisine, cognac and wine. Not far from Beauvallon lagoon and Brossac lakes with many outdoor activities such as swimming, pedallos, horseriding, quad bikes, fishing, bbqs and picnics plus local village shops and restaurants (9/10 km).1 hour from Cognac, Bordeaux and the Atlantic coast.

Airports: 1 hour from Bordeaux, 1.5 hours from Bergerac Ferry ports: 5/6 hours drive from St.Malo. 7/8 hours from Cherbourg/Caen Trains: 1 hour from Angouleme or Bordeaux stations (2.5 hours from Paris).   I had a Fantastic Alternative Holiday in Poitou Charentes, France French,Mediterranean,Med, town of Brossac, Saint Vallier is Wonderfull !
