It is an idyllic stone villa with all the mod-cons that one would expect in any western house. When staying at The Old Mill House villa bungalow, the nature around will thoroughly enchant you. Birdsong is heard all day (a birdwatcher`s paradise), whilst traffic is a memory of your past. The Limassol and Cyprus mountainous views can easily compete with the best of Wales, with the added benefit of a stunning climate (beaches a mere 20 minutes drive); some say there are over 330 days of sunshine per year here. The village (Klonari), in which the villa sits, consists of no more than 10 stone cottages and has a wonderful local orange grove. Klonari is easily accessible with good roads that provide Limassol beaches 20 minutes away. The Limassol dual carriage way is 15 minutes drive and thus provides rapid access to the many attractions of historical importance in Cyprus. The village itself allows for many wonderful walks and is only one minute from a British-run golf club (www.vikla-golf), which is frequented by many ex-pats. The golf club offers facilities has a swimming pool, bar, and serves sandwiches and snacks. The area is ideal for bird watching/ornithologists, mountain walking and ramblers, those generally interested in nature, and golfers. Children can play in a very quiet area, adults can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the village and location, and everyone could drive for a day out to the Limassol beaches or other Cypriot locations. The nearest main city is Limassol, which has bars, restaurants, beaches, a port, a castle, museums, compact shopping centre, and much besides.
