| Tahiti and French Polynesia Guide (Book)Customer Rating: Reviews:
"We have been going to French Polynesia for some 15 years. We met Jan a few years ago and what she doesn't know about Paradise and it's best kept secrets will never be written. Why stay at a $500.oo a night hotel when the house next door is only $80.00. One could say if it's male Jan knows it.Highly Reccomended." Why not buy this book, and read while on your Alternative Vacation in Polynesia. It would be so usefull when you Buy a Alternative Vacation Casa in Polynesia. "This book is all you need to take a wonderful trip to French Polynesia! Jan Prince describes every hotel, restaurant and excursion in complete detail! We couldn't have taken our trip to Moorea without it...this book made everything so easy!!! It saved us tons of time and money just by reading this book & taking the suggestions given. I went to Moorea (with 5 other people) on less than $900 (including airfare). This was obviously written by someone who knows her stuff!! Jan is immersed in French Polynesia and she has all the knowledge of the natives & then some!! We saw Moorea in it's truest form thanks to Jan Prince's book. We had other travel guides with us...this book was the one we used the most!!!" This book has fantastic information on Polynesia, well worth reading if you buying a Holiday Apartment in Polynesia. "This wonderful book has been highly recommended by my Tahiti specialist Jean-Louis aka Meherio from FlyTahiti.com. The suggestion to purchase this book was found on Polynesianislands.com Tahiti forum with many similar recommendations from long time Tahiti travelers. According to our travel agent, this book could almost have been the only thing to pack prior to our trip with the children, great advice and suggestions that helped us to keep within our family budget and maximize the fun. We also loved the restaurant suggestions on Moorea like, Le Bateau restaurant or the children's favorite, the Aito restaurant near the Sheraton. This book stays on my desk in the office as to keep our promise to return and try the Fare Hamara which we could only see from the road, as it appears to be the true flavor of life on Moorea by Bali Hai! This book is must for any traveler to read before and after visiting Tahiti and her islands! DPK" Before buying a Vacation House in Polynesia, I would read this book while in Polynesia. |

| Lonely Planet Tahiti and French Polynesia (Travel Guides) (Book)Customer Rating: Reviews:
"This book did a wonderful job of not only preparing us for the journey, but help us get around. We have now been there three times to three difference islands, and each time it preformed well. Although with all travel books they get out to date in a year or two, you should always call a head to verify critical information." This book has fantastic information about . So take it with you when you Buy a Holiday Cottage in . "I was expecting more from lonely planet but aside from the maps, the book is obsolete. It also reads like a text book, no passion, no flavor, very boring. The sections on each area are not very big at all. ..." This book has wonderfull information on , well worth reading if you buying a Vocation or Holiday Villa in . |
