"This book would have made an interesting three page article in LOADED magazine but anybody with the most basic knowledge of the conflict in Ulster will cringe at the endless mistakes in the detail of this book such as suggesting that Ian Gow MP was killed by a car bomb in central London etc etc.

The half page introduction doesn't provide any plausible background to the research methods and source material employed and to that degree it is virtually impossible to make a constructive value judgement on this material..." "An interesting read if you want to know more about the intelligence side of the military in Northen Ireland. It seems as if Capaint Nairac went well beyond the call of duty - apparently patrolling in uniform then changing into civvy's and roaming the same area.

However, it seems as if he was passionate about Ireland and this may have led to him taking too many risks.I think he would be pleased to see the latest developments and the efforts to bring 30 years of misery to an end. Another interesting book by the authour on a military theme!"
